Greg Litvanyi is the President and founder of 251 Forensic Fire Investigations Ltd., bringing more than 35 years of progressive experience in fire investigation, emergency response, and fire service leadership. Throughout his career, Greg has conducted over 1,000 fire and explosion investigations involving residential, commercial, industrial, marine, vehicle, heavy equipment, and agricultural losses. His extensive field experience, combined with advanced technical training, has made him a trusted expert for insurers, legal professionals, and public agencies across Western Canada.

Greg is recognized as an expert witness by consent in the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan and has provided testimony in both Provincial Court and the Court of King’s Bench. His investigative approach is grounded in scientific methodology, evidence‑based analysis, and clear, defensible reporting.

Before founding 251 Forensic Fire Investigations in 2021, Greg spent decades serving the community through Yorkton Fire Protective Services, advancing from firefighter to Acting Captain and ultimately Deputy Chief of Operations and Training. He has also worked in the private sector as a fire investigator and served as an instructor, evaluator, and proctor with Parkland College, training the next generation of fire service professionals.

Under Greg’s leadership, 251 Forensic Fire Investigations has expanded significantly, adding investigators and new office locations across Saskatchewan and British Columbia to better serve clients throughout Western Canada.
