Shawn Frankfurt

Shawn Frankfurt is a Fire Investigator with 251 Forensic Fire Investigations Ltd., bringing more than 30 years of fire service experience and serving as lead investigator on over 300 fire and explosion investigations. His background includes three decades with Yorkton Fire Protective Services—advancing to Captain in 2013—and six years as a Fire Service Instructor with Parkland Fire College.

Shawn holds the CFEI designation along with extensive NFPA certifications in fire investigation, inspection, instruction, hazardous materials, rescue operations, industrial firefighting, and incident safety. He is accredited through IFSAC and the Pro Board, and is an active member of CAFI and NAFI.

Known for his disciplined investigative approach and clear, evidence‑based reporting, Shawn provides reliable origin‑and‑cause analysis for residential, commercial, industrial, vehicle, equipment, and wildland fire losses across Western Canada.
